SmartGuardian Wi-Fi engages in the development and delivery of wireless intrusion prevention systems, incorporating a low-cost, real-time risk classification and alarm system for potential use on public Wi-fi networks and large-event environments.
Our system uses an automated assessment tool (AAT) that allows for quick processing and near real-time threat identification in various Wi-Fi environments. It uses an eight-step pipeline to evaluate wireless network security, focusing on architectural vulnerabilities in 5G and future 6G networks. This approach provides users with clear, contextual recommendations for security risks related to Wi-Fi connectivity during critical exposure periods.
Research shows that public Wi-Fi networks, often unsecured, expose users to privacy and data risks. Studies demonstrate that awareness campaigns and experimental interventions reveal behavioral changes aligned with protection motivation theory, underscoring the need for education and safer practices to mitigate vulnerabilities (Sangeen et al., 2023).
This pushed SmartGuardian to be groundbreaking. Our tool can assist people on U.S. soil in identifying unsecured public Wi-Fi connections that not only reduce exposure but also minimize risks in crowded environments. This is achieved through network context detection, real-time risk classification, and CISA-aligned explanations, complemented by adaptive event-based awareness.
Current wireless protection workflows remain highly dependent on user intuition and inconsistent security practices, leading to variable outcomes, premature credential exposure, and increased vulnerability costs.
Conversely, SmartGuardian integrates contextual network identification, actionable risk mitigation guidance, and standardized awareness workflows to reduce wireless breaches, minimize unsafe behaviors, and improve long-term access to predictable cybersecurity consciousness.

By recognizing event-based networks (e.g., stadiums or mass gatherings), SmartGuardian adjusts its security awareness logic to reflect higher exposure scenarios, where wireless interception and misconfiguration risks are statistically elevated.
Wireless Risk Assessment Indicator
This component provides an immediate visual classification of the current Wi-Fi network risk level. The Active Event indicator signals that the user is connected in the context of a recognized large public gathering, such as an international sports event. In this mode, SmartGuardian elevates its security awareness messaging to reflect risks that are statistically more common in high-density environments, including open networks and increased exposure to impersonation attempts. This contextual flag demonstrates the application’s ability to align user guidance with real-world event scenarios, reinforcing informed and cautious wireless usage.
